What is ColorBase?
ColorBase is a professional mobile app for paint mixing workshops and print shops. It helps you manage color recipes, document samples with photos, scale recipes up or down, and track material costs, all in one place.
What is ColorBase Pro?
ColorBase Pro is the full version of the app. A single one-time purchase removes all advertisements, unlocks unlimited recipes, and enables secure cloud sync so your data is backed up and accessible across multiple devices.
How does the recipe limit work in the free version?
The free version allows you to store up to 3 recipes locally. To add more recipes or sync them to the cloud, you can purchase ColorBase Pro once to unlock full features.
What is the Leftover Calculator?
The Leftover Calculator lets you scale down an entire recipe when you have a specific amount of base paint left. Tap on any ingredient weight in the calculator view to recalculate the whole recipe for that amount. This saves material and reduces waste.
How does the cost calculator work?
You can assign a price per kilogram to each ingredient when adding or editing a recipe. The app automatically calculates the total cost of producing each kilogram of paint and displays it on the calculator screen.
Where are my recipes stored?
In the free version, recipes are stored locally on your device. ColorBase Pro users get cloud storage via Supabase. Your recipes sync securely and are accessible from any device where you sign in.
Can I take photos of my color samples?
Yes. You can capture photos of samples and cans directly from the app when adding or editing a recipe. Photos are compressed for storage and displayed as thumbnails on the recipe list and in full size on the calculator screen.
How do I purchase ColorBase Pro?
ColorBase Pro is a one-time in-app purchase through the App Store or Google Play. After payment, you get full features and no ads with no recurring charges. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google.
Does the free version show ads?
Yes. The free version displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. Purchasing ColorBase Pro once removes all ads permanently.
Can I delete my account and data?
Yes. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time using the "Delete Account" option in your profile settings. This action cannot be undone.
